Nature Interaction

Lagoons

There are various lagoons throughout the property: Predator (sharks), Stingray, Ruins, Reef, Water's Edge, and Turtle. The lagoons allow for amazingly up-close observation of sharks, stingrays, turtles and various other species of sea life.

The Atlantean

The Atlantean, the Atlantis Resort & Casino daily activities guide, will list feeding times at each lagoon. Of course, the shark feedings are the most popular.

Nearly all of these lagoons can be viewed from below as well, via tunnels that connect pathways from The Dig and various underground tunnels.

The Dig

The Dig is an artistic recreation of the lost Atlantis. A spectacular labyrinth of displays of sea creatures. Along the way, guests will find a tank that allows for handling of sea urchins and starfish.

Dolphin Cay and Dolphin Encounter

There are various lagoons throughout the property: Predator (sharks), Stingray, Ruins, Reef, Water's Edge, and Turtle. The lagoons allow for amazingly up-close observation of sharks, stingrays, turtles and various other species of sea life.

Dolphin Cay

Dolphin Cay is on the Atlantis Resort & Casino property and offers a 3-4 hour information session and Dolphin Program.  Guests interact with dolphins in waist-high water.  The Dolphin Program costs $150 per person.

The Dolphin Encounter

The Dolphin Encounter is located on Blue Lagoon Island. Boat ride, wet suits and basic Dolphin Encounter program is $85 per person. The Swim with the Dolphins program ($165 per person) allows for greater interaction with the dolphins, including the famous "foot push". Call several weeks ahead to make reservations – especially for the Swim with the Dolphins program.

Our Recommendation – Think about economizing by paying for the kids to be in one of the programs and having Mom and/or Dad just pay the observation fee ($20-$25 per person).
